, set five pullet eggs all five hatched, two are in the bator yet, many more hatches to come, we are incubating these with our project lavender araucana, should be some nice batches to brood out before the ice cold temps arrive.....

I have 4 new chicks hatched and raised by their Momma, a Buff Orpington hen.

Their "Daddy" is a Red Sex-Link Rooster.

ONE of the chicks is the color of a Buff Orpington. The other THREE look very much like your WHITE ORPINGTON chicks!

I'm really curious if any (or all) are roosters.......

I'll know for sure in a month or two.

Isn't leghorn or White Rocks used in the red sex-link, dominate white.. nice/cool, be interesting to see there size and body type once fully grown out....You may get hens to, but im unsure after this type of crossing..They may have red leakage once fully grown, pile like? keep us updated on your cross
