First year chicken owner

Hi my name is Jill and I go by Phenix JiRa on various places on the web. I am often looking for answers to chicken questions and inevitably end up on this site. I figured it was time to join!

I have five hens which I got in September of last year. They are just about one year old.
raising chickens has been something I’ve wanted to do for several years and I finally decided to take the plunge. Of course there has been a great deal of fun but also frustrations.

I’ll be posting a question soon as I’m having an issue with one of the ladies.

I have two Barred Plymouth Rocks, two Black Star (sex link) and one Sagitta. I put up a post called 'finicky chicken or health issue' which is about the Sagitta who's decided she doesn't ant to eat chicken food anymore. I think she's doing a number on me LOL!
