Hi!
I have decided to hatch some chicks this year, but I know nothing about the process. I am ordering my incubator, but I don't have it yet, what should I do in preparation, and what do I need to do once I get it. I am hatching my own eggs ( not ordering) and I plan on hatching about 10 eggs. Any advice is accepted, thanks! :D

The best advice I can give for humidity: http://letsraisechickens.weebly.com...anuals-understanding-and-controlling-humidity

And for overall hatching from a hands on perspective: http://hatching411.weebly.com/

Okay, I am ordering my incubation equipment now, and I wanted to get some personal quotes on what I am getting. Is there any extra stuff I need to get? And is there anything that isn't recommended on my list. Thanks

Skip the hygrometer you posted and go with this one, it's much more accurate than a gauge type.

Also, the HovaBator is an okay choice, a lot of people like theirs. I just steer clear of Styrofoam incubators because they are very fussy and often need to be babysat to make sure the temp isn't fluctuating. If you have a bit more to spend and want to avoid that, give the Incuview from Incubator Warehouse a look.

Ok, thank!

my overall budget is about one hundred and fourth dollars, so I don't really have a ton of choices. I will take look at those, Thanks so much!
