Today I received my quail eggs that I got from ebay. This is my first time hatching anything

and I made my own incubator. The temp is at 100.0 and 50% humidity s that ok for coturnix quail eggs????

and how long do I have to wait (let them set) before putting them in the incubator???

I have no experience with quails.
But they recommend to let the eggs "rest" for 8 to 24 hours after arrival.
Best of luck!

If your incubator is up and ready to go all you have to do is let the eggs reach room temp then pop them in, after all you never know how long they have been out or how old the shipped eggs are. put them in as soon as they are ready.

What kind of quail are they???

Like Al said, put them in now. 4 to 8 hours of sitting is ok.

For Coturnix you incubate at 99.5 degrees/60% humidity for 14 days and
then stop turning, boost humidity to 70%, and you should have hatching
happen on day 17 or abouts.
