...all because I had to go to TSC and buy fencing...

So I have added two Golden Comet pullets to my four BR and one RIR...one expanding happy family!! Why didn't someone warn me that chicks were so addictive? I mean, I had my *suspicions*...

The only thing that has stopped me from buying any chicks at the feed store is the eggs I had in the incubator which are now two week old chicks. I almost bought poults last weekend, but stopped for only one reason. I didn't know what breed they were and I have been hoping to get some bourbon red eggs. I am so glad I didn't buy the poults since my turkey eggs should be here today and of course I will be setting some chicken eggs next weekend. Only way to resist those cute fuzzies at the store is knowing I am planning on hatching more than can fit in my coop already.

Thank goodness I seem to have a talent for hatching roos.
