Ok, I love the Voy site! I have saved it into my favorites for further review. My chick seems to be getting stronger everyday and has recently been trying very hard to walk.
She still cannot get the toes of her left foot to spread open...I think this is the only thing keeping her from walking. I wondered if we could make a little "shoe" for her and tape it onto her spread out toes...but she cries, as if in pain, when we try to force her toes open??
She is still eating and drinking and is in good spirits. Her eyes are bright and she wants to be active. She "talks" all of the time...I just cannot figure out how she got this injury?
We will make the "sling" described on Voy for her to see if this helps her walk. She is really wanting to walk and struggling so hard to stand. She will balance herself for a while on the right foot and then finally fall over.
All of her little buddies out in the pen are still going strong. No signs of problems with them. Thank you again for all the information. I appreciate all of your input!
