Sexing guess at 2 weeks

Hello again,

It’s probably way too early but curious if it’s possible to guess at the sex of these blue laced red Wyandottes at two weeks based on comb size? Pics below. The one in the background looks like it’s already growing a more pronounced comb but maybe it’s not a reliable indicator yet… second pic was just a cute one. I couldn’t resist 😝

It is always possible to make guesses. The question is whether those guesses have any chance of being correct :D

From what I see in those pictures, I think there is some chance that the bigger comb chick is a male, but I would keep watching for several more weeks, likely a month or more, before I would be very sure of it.

For the one with a smaller comb, I think it is about equally likely to be a female, or to be a male that is a little slower to start growing a comb. So I would definitely keep watching that one for the next month or more.
