I'm not sure where this post would fit, but...

One of my roosters has I think a rosecomb. He's and EE if that helps. Right now the back end that isn't attached to his head is flopping down over his eye. Is there a way to make it go back up again, or does it have to stay "floppy"?

On a side note- I can't think of any other word that better describes it. It's floppy.

Is it a rather large comb, or is it an injured comb? Some large combs are just floppy, but rose combs usually aren't quite so floppy. Do you have a photograph?

It's not injured. I'll see if I can borrow my friend's camera in a few days. Maybe google images will have something similar to show you... So my rooster look pretty much like this (this is not my rooster), his comb extends farther back, his tail feathers are smaller, his feet are green.

The part pointed with the yellow arrow moves according to the green arrow, if that makes sense. And when he moves his head around, his comb bounces around too, kind of jello-y.

Some combs are just floppy. I kind of think they are cute. If he is healthy, well-fed, and doesn't have any parasites, it might just be the style of his comb.

Rusty, one of my roos, is also an EE and has a weird floppy comb too, lol. Sitka, my other roo, has a comb the same size and shape, but it is not floppy. They are fed the same and have been penned and ranged together, I think that is just how they are.
