(Fixed) My 9-10 week old chick has one eye closed and seems to be having issues breathing.

So this just started a couple of hours ago when I noticed she was keeping her right eye closed, I thought for a second that it was because she had the sun in her eye until I noticed she kept it closed even in the shade. She was perfectly fine this morning so I'm hoping I've caught it early.

She's able to open her eye but keeps it closed unless she has to open it to look at me, and it seems perfectly fine when it's open, no discharges, crust, or anything of the sort so far. She also started panting a lot which I at first figured was due to the heat (It's in the upper 90s here and I've been working to make sure they're cool) but she's still panting since I've brought her into the house. She can breathe through her nose for a short while but will open her beak and start panting a lot while stretching her neck before repeating the cycle.

She doesn't seem to be panicked but I fear if this isn't taken care of soon it could turn pretty badly.

Any and all answers are greatly appreciated, and I thank you for taking the time to read this.

-Joe

(P.S. The left side is fine so far, she was just mid blink. Apologies for lack of quality on the pictures.)

I've had her on my left hand this entire time and she seems to be breathing a bit better.
Though now she has a bit of red near the corner of her eye, which I belive is just simply the bloodflow in that area increasing considering her age, but if anyone thinks its something different, please let me know.

I've given her some water and the panting seems to have stopped (she wasn't wanting to drink any not too long ago) Though the issue with her eye still remains, it's possible that one of the other chickens may have pecked her there and now it's just sensitive since she's been a lot more skittish than usual. She seems to be able to run around with out much issue keeping it open, though she does still keep it closed a fair mount, it's not quite as much as when I was holding her.

So it seems that I was right about her just getting pecked by another one of the chickens, it's the morning now and she's doing perfectly fine keeping both eyes open!
