Fixing 1 crooked toe on a peachick

So I just picked up this handsome IBSBS and he’s a year old. Is it too late to fix his foot. Previous owner said he hatched this way and he kept taking off this splint. I want to give it a go but I don’t know if it’s worth the trouble since he is older.
No, it is too late to fix now. There is a very short window right after hatch that toes can be straightened by applying tape 'shoes', once the bones have hardened the only way would be to break the toes and reset and I have never heard of anyone having any luck with that. On hens, it is no big deal to have crinkled toes but on a cock it will inhibit his ability to breed.

I have 6 new peachicks hatching right now. Last years group didn't have any crooked toe problems but understand it is not uncommon. I'm reading here about splints and shoes. Could someone please post pics in case I need to make these? Thanks

No, it is not fixable at this age. A vet might try but I think you would be wasting your money. I have one very special cock that has nothing but stubs on one foot and only one toe on the other and he is getting the job done, not 100% done but he is producing some chicks.View attachment 2747307View attachment 2747308View attachment 2747309
Omg he is beautiful!!! It doesn’t bother me that my new peacock has a curl toes. I love him no matter what, I’m just concerned in his outlook in life. Will it hurt him? Bother him? Will he have complications? Is your peacock so far doing well?
