Fizzy the EE - roo?

We heard him make a weird squawk the other day, almost sounded like an attempt to crow. He is also making sure everyone knows he's boss, there are still 2 others that will spat with him, it makes a big commotion and gets everyone stirred up. And anyone who makes a fuss he rushed up to them and tries to tower over them, or he'll just jump and stomp them 😒 if he turns out nice he'll have a home in the coop, if not, he'll have a toasty home in the kitchen.
Just don't forget they almost always go through a randy cockerel stage where they're not always nice to the ladies. Usually after that they're good.

We have a setup that we can modify fairly easily if needed, I've already started reading rooster posts about behavior. Right now our ratio is 1 to 22, 11 of those are year old hens and a few of those are quite dominant. We also have almost 2 acres they free range and if needed we can add a coop or expand a run. We have options!

We have two of our current hens we'd like to cross with him next year, other than that I'm curious as to what will happen if we allow him to build his own flock. I'm wondering about his behavior if he's locked up and "given" a flock vs having to win the ladies over.

We have 3 separate coops with runs now.

Fizz Bang updated photos, so far he's been well behaved enough that my hubby's love for him has kept him around. Since he's the only other male on the property, I respect their bro-hood 😂
