If she's a new teacher she definitely doesn't have any money & therefore no car. I'm a teacher and trust me, it took me an entire career to hit even a humble salary. Teaching is definitely a labor of love... hopefully she follows through with her students' needs better than she does with commitments outside the school! Sounds like immaturity to me.
