Flamingo stance .?

Once again I have a question about Gabby my 3/4 month old male rouen.
His newest thing besides flying.. Is sleeping with one foot up and head tucked in his feathers (which I know tucked in the feathers in normal) but the one leg up standing???

today he stood on the sandbag next to the pool (which is used for them to get into the pool) and slept like that, the other three ducks on the ground sleeping around him.

any one else's duck do that?

Completely normal. Mine generally prefer to lay down, but I have a mallard duck who does that so that her ducklings can get under her for bed, and a silver Swedish drake who just does it for no reason I can see. There've been a few others over the years, but I don't exactly keep notes.

I think I've noticed that the lighter breeds are more likely to do it, but that might just be confirmation bias.
