I'm at the point in my build that I need to install the doors and windows.

Do I need flashing??? If so what do I get??

My windows will be 2x4 plexi framed with 1x4s and mounted with a top hinge.

The door will be a Dutch door.

The coop itself is bcx plywood and is 8x9.

On a chicken coop made of BCX plywood it's likely overkill unless it rains a lot and you have no roof overhang. Flashing is more important in areas you don't want to get wet due to potential for water damage, such as interior home spaces with insulation and drywall on the other side.

If after time you find that too much water is getting in around the windows and door, then you could always add external flashing/drip trim, etc.

Perfect! Thank you!!
