Well... was wondering if anyone has ever shipped eggs with those Flat Rate boxes?

The Medium $10.70 ones? Not the box shaped box (I know, great description eh?) but the flatter one?
I can fit 36 eggs in there... but I don't know if they will safely ship?
It'd save me extra money to spend on bubble wrap

lol

Was wondering if it can be done?
I ship out up to 36 eggs in the large Flat Rate, but wanted to use the Medium ones to save the $5
AND I think I can ship up to 18 eggs in the medium Flat Rates...

I keep testing those boxes out LOL

Any input?

I have shipped with the flat rate boxes and I know which one you are talking about. I don't think I would try the smaller flat one or I think your going to be sending egg soup instead of eggs. I have used the priority boxes too. They have a smaller square box but they are hard to find. The last time I shipped in one of those I shipped about 10 banty eggs and it was about $7.00, saved a couple of bucks that way. I'm sure it also depends where it's going too.

Someone sent me 14 eggs in one of those boxes. Four arrived whole & 10 arrived scrambled.

i use priority boxes instead of flat rate. cheaper and the box is bigger than the priority boxes

I recently recieved 30 quail eggs in the next smallest one down with egg foam and polyfil none were broken in shipment .
