You look like you are off to a good start!!! We are about to start a new coop ourselves and have noticed that there are quite a few options for framing. I like how you have your 2x4's flush mounted, I don't see any gussets, did you drill and screw to attach? Could you post some close-up pictures of the construction?

Ctychix... I replied via email to your email. For those who are interested I'll be posting pics of my coop progress on my BYC homepage. I only have two up right now but will hopefully post a few more tonight showing the shingled roof and how I'm joining my 2x4's. I'm using pocket hole screws which make a rock solid joint. The Kreg jig is what I use to pre drill the pocket holes.
