Does anyone feed their chickens flax seed? If so how often, how much and in what manner. Throw down like scratch or mix in with their feed? Just as a treat once in a while? I can imagine it could get expensive. But we have an Amish store close by that sells it pretty reasonable if I offered it once in a while. Just curious what others do.
