Fleas

That is something I personally take myself for ticks and skeeters. Mosquitoes wont even like my smell when I'm taking it. The fleas(and yes had an opportunity to test it when my moms pavilion was infested BADLY) however jump on, bite, then jump off but repeat anyway. I'm not sure if they rely more on body heat than scent but they certainly take off after finding out you weren't as delicious as they thought. Thouuuggghhh how much of it do you give your dogs? I thought garlic was toxic to dogs?

I give him about a half teaspoon every other week or so....sometimes skipping a week here and there. In large doses it does cause anemia. But in small doses, moderated well it keep the fleas from biting and is way less toxic in my opinion. But like you said the bugs sure don't like the way you taste when garlic flavored!!

Another vote for Comfortis. With two of our dogs we use it because our l=older cocker has a bad reaction to comfortis and gets sick so we bath her more and use Frontline plus or Advantix. If you have a tick problem we have found that the tick collor Preventic works great.
