Flesh colored swelling on hen's wattle and comb...what is it?? **PIC**

It doesn't look like fowlpox. Just raised fleshy areas on her face. No discharge from the lesions or her nostrils. Otherwise normal...eatin', drinkin', smokin' and jokin'.

Could it be an allergic reaction to something? Could it have been stung by something? How long has it looked like that?

My daughter noticed it yesterday for the first time. I saw all of them on Wednesday and didn't notice it. I guess it could be a sting...I thought of that because it looks like just swollen "wattle tissue".

No, there's some on the other side as well. She doesn't appear to have any breathing difficulties. It was hot today and they were all panting just a little bit until it started to cool down this evening. Then they all stopped, including her.
