I couldn't believe it has actually worked...BUT.....
4 parts vanilla extract to 1 part water in a spray bottle.... then spray. Easy peasy.
I know it sounds crazy

That's a lot of vanilla extract... how long does it work? And does it irritate the chickens' sinuses?

Or you could simply hang ziplock baggies half full of water to keep the flies out.

I spray once a week and no.... vanilla is harmless to chickens.... much more so than chemicals that are sold for coops

We had a dairy farm move in a mille up the road....I wish a ziplock bag were that simple at our farm
