Cecal poo is that nasty, runny, sticky, stinky, grosser than gross poop that your chickens squirt out about 1 of every 5 turds. You can't miss it.

I made a 2nd trap from a 2-liter bottle and put some honey & bacon in it. All I caught was a few ants and a spider. Something had come through my yard in the middle of the night and licked that trap clean. I'm guessing an opossum. I think a racoon would have carried the trap off.

No more honey traps for my yard. Back to da poo trap.

Hidden benefit from using water & poop for your fly trap - it's sorta like compost tea! You can pour it out and fertilize plants with it!

I did explain what it is. If you google it you can find a link to the medical explanation - basically that the cecal pouch is a sort of "dead end" in the intestine.

I thought if you had chickens you would definitely know what cecal poo is.....just can't miss it....shewee!!!
