Sweet PDZ is a horse stall freshner. You can find it at Tractor Supply by the horse bedding and feed. It comes in a 40lb bag and is the consistency of really fine sand. I have been sprinkling the PDZ and DE in the coop every couple of days and the it has eliminated all odors. Flies seem to be down inside the coop too. Still a lot of flies in the run but I don't think I will ever get rid of those...

Thanks for the information WenJ, The chickens I am helping with right now are free range, so we don't have to much of a problem with flies, how to get rid of them. Have you tried fly strips in the run?
