Thanks! Although they're small they're perfect for a few little monsters, i have a few larger ones for the new Quail, funny how time flies again, just over a week left for those to hatch. Not quite sure i'm even close to ready for them! I need a new *cardboard box* to use as a mini brooder until they get their feathers in....I have decided this time i'm making it a little fancy to look out, two compartments and everything, why the heck not! I have to look at it for weeks haha.

I'd like some A&M and maybe have a go at a few more whites. Because they are so pretty. Just a shame they are hard to sex!

I was thinking the same. We had trouble sexing my tuxedo. Thought it was a girl, turned out to be my only male (from my original 3). The ones I've hatched. There is 3 males and 6 females. I will give away 2 makes and 3 females =( just dont have the room especially since I have my coturnix eggs soon. And hoping they will hatch. Plus I got 12 more buttons in the bator. Oh what have I started? Lol so addicting! Sending happy hatch vibes your way. Keep me posted. Btw this has turned to be "our" thread. Funny huh.

I haven't been well and have had to leave my eggs in the care of friend...here's hoping he remembers that they are to be locked down today! I'd remind him but i will still only have to do it again later. Hopen i feel well enough to go up tomorrow and measure everything is going alright! Silly tummy bugs.

Some of my buttons hatched yesterday. A day late and one a day early. I'm happy I got diff colors this time. Looks like pied or tux or darth vader lol. What you think?

I wonder. I'll let you know when they get older. I finally got ahold of some coturnix eggs. Probably will out them in tonight if not tomorrow. How's your eggs?

I have 28 Coturnix eggs in the incubator, today is day 12, so the eggs should be hatching on the weekend!! This is my first time ever (incubating).
I have 8 quails in the back yard, but decided to have more. Nice to read all your successful hatching stories, hope mine hatch too...

Well, i have 12 eggs, so far four have hatched and one is on the way. Not bad!

Sorry i haven't been very active recently, I'm in the process of trying to find a pet friendly apartment, luckily i have found one but this is taking me forever. My Kwanza gang are at the mating stage now so here's hoping for some eggs soon.
