Flock Additions - BO and RIR?

My RIRs were handled frequently when they were chicks. Perhaps that makes a difference in how they act now. In fact, all of my birds spend time with me so thay know who I am and aren't afraid of me. That might be worth your consideration.

We decided on 6 Black Australorps, 2 Rhode Island Reds, and 2 mystery rare breeds, which I guess are just any unsold chicks they hatch out!

We decided since Australorps are very similar to Orpingtons that we would just stick with them and only get a couple RIR to see how we like them. And of course who doesn't love suprise mystery chickens? With our luck we will probably get more Wyandottes.
