OK so my little Millies + their EE leader had claimed the top of the nest box as their sleeping spot (yes I need to "fix" this issue soon) They are almost 8 weeks old.
My other two - an RIR ( still unsexed!) and a polish/crazy mixed roo always slept on the floor (they used to roost but haven't been lately) The RIR has a crate she likes to sleep in. These two are around 17-18 weeks.
Well suddenly the older roo is sleeping up top with all the banties including a couple of them that are roos and the RIR sleeps on the floor still - but one of the Millie roos sleeps in the crate with her.
I haven't actually seen any major fighting, but have seen this little roo hang out with her more and more during the day. She is fed up with the older roo chasing her tail feathers (which is why I think she might be a she)
Is this normal for behavior? Has the younger roo been displaced?
Just trying to understand the whole flock dynamics.
