I have Rouen ducks and she looks like she is mixed to me. No eye stripes like the Rouen has. I could be wrong, just my observation.

Thanks Luv! (that sounds so British!) It's not a breed I'm familiar with and it's sometimes hard to tell just from pics.

AND it's because this is the only way we can get through to you guys at times. lol

Dynamics are about to change drastically! Not only are seven ducks gone (four mallard-derived drakes, two Muscovy drakes, and one Muscovy hen) but they are being replaced with a new Muscovy hen and her nine two-week-old foster ducklings, and four juvenile female Muscovy.

AND, I have to find names for all of them!!!

I'm going to have to band the four juvies since they are all whites (black stripes on head, but if my other white, who also had a stripe, is any example, they'll lose those by next year). I forgot to ask the previous owners what colour the parents were. Will need to do that in the morning.

Foster Mom is a blue pied, and the peepers are three blacks, three chocolates (one magpie!), two whites, and a black barred.

So, anyone have any theme ideas?
