Beautiful! I passed up some barred rocks this year and now I'm wishing I hadn't...maybe next year!

Nice, I like Barred rocks but if your going to have them you should have them with some other breeds too because we all want a colorful flock, right?!

I have a friend who is giving me a BR roo that she can't keep. We are finishing up construction on our coop and run so I can't get him just yet. I went to visit him a couple weeks ago and he is a cutie pie. He will be in charge of a flock of older ladies (some 4 year old hens that another friend is rehoming with me to get me started). I'm going to have a flock of cougar hens and a young gigolo rooster! Ha Ha
