Flock introduction

i currently have one previous chicken left from our first flock plus one rooster. We have a new flock of 8 chicks. They have been in the coop separated from the chicken and rooster they are about 3 weeks old now. At how many weeks is it safe for them to be in the coop together?

They need to be completly feathered out and if possible closer to their size!! I only mixed mine when they could defend themselves.

I am thinking in 2 more weeks they would be okay to be introduced to her. They are almost feathered out now but I would like to stretch it out a couple more weeks just to be on the safe side. Do you have a rooster in your flock? I am more worried about him then the existing hen.

A good Rooster won't bother with young Pullets..I would worry more about the Hen.
Look no touch pen and introduce as they free range.
