Got a better pic, I believe this is a pea comb, but I’m not sure. Doesn’t look like the other single comb ones I have

Does she have a single comb? Could be an Austrolorp.

This is fun! I wonder if chick#6 is your free --cockerel-- though. That's a red comb for her(?) age. Otherwise, keep guessing, and more pictures in another couple of weeks.

Shouldn’t be a mix, unless that’s the free rare chick which could be an Easter Egger, I called MM and asked so the only way I could have an EE is if it was my feee rare chick. I’m also wondering if this black chick is one of my whiting true blues.

Confirmed yesterday, this is like 99.9% male at 3.5 weeks but he’s so gorgeous!

I would keep an eye on chick 6 it may be a cockeral hun

I googled around for a black chick with a pea comb and couldn't find anything... Mixes at hatcheries happens, not often, but it happens.

True, I guess we will find out as time goes on, I know whiting true blues have pea combs and come in a lot of different colors so I’m still hopeful ha

I'm not certain on any except for Cjcik 6, which looks like a young Golden Lace Wyandotte. I'm thinking the ones with green legs are possibly Easter eggers, but in really not certain..

I think it will be easier after they have grown a bit and feathered out. But I really like their markings beautiful flock!
