Hello:
If you look at my threads about my Game rooster, you will see I too am having a time of it. I do have a question for you all. What does the smell of Coryza like ?? My ROO had thick, yellow, stringy, caked on snot coming out of his nostrils. It was darn near frightining to see.
I have another game rooster, but he is not a full fledged one. He is still young and has yellow legs.
He had this croop for a day and went on without a hitch. None of the other birds were nearly as bad as the game roo. I have read that Game roosters and some game hens are much more susceptible to diseases.
I am stepping up my incubation with the game hens eggs. I hope to get a few roosters out of them before something horrid happens.
A really nice game rooster went through a local sale a few weeks ago. I passed, becuase they tend to kill one another. Also, this guy will let you pick him up anytime and he really is a sweetheart.
I raised him from my incubator.
