what does flog mean i always hear stories on here saying a chicken flogged someone what does it mean?

It means the chicken flew at the person, beating them with their wings and scratching with their feet. A mean old Dominique rooster flogged me when I was 5 years old; I was careful not to go into his territory again!

Flog means the rooster/hen attacked you with his/her wings and spurs, maybe biting and scratching also.
