Flogging Rooster

If a homeowner posts no trespassing and "Warning, Flogging Rooster" signs in the premises and a person walks up and gets flogged, is the homeowner liable if someone gets flogged?

Well they were warned..thats what they tell you to do with dogs..maybe the same applies to roosters...

It seems that if the owner is indicating that he knows the rooster is dangerous and indicates that, he is liable.

I don't have my chickens yet, but I have a neighbor that's into suing everyone and or fliling claims on their insurance and she worries me. I want to be protected all I can.

No; you're liable for all your animal liabilities regardless of whether you posted a warning sign or not. If it was a "no trespassing" sign, it'd hold some weight but an insurance company will just throw money at it.

Hi there,
Penning any aggressive animals (or confining your animals to a certain area) is a good way to avoid problems entirely.
Or just not owning any aggressive animals. Not all roosters are aggressive so I wish you luck!
