- Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- We’re new. We decided that this year we’d have a Merry Chicksmas.
- How many chickens do you have right now?
- We have (2) Polish Bantam Frizzle Pullets and (6) unsexed Silkie teenagers
- What breeds do you have?
- Polish Bantams and Silkies
- What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- We’ve noticed that we spend more time outdoors tending to our girls and digging in the dirt with them. We’ve also noticed that our ladies are far more affectionate and endearing than we ever imagined they could be.
- What are some of your other hobbies?
- Baking, Swimming, Hiking, Gardening
- Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- We have a young son who helps care for the flock.
- Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
- We’ve been using BYC for research purposes and we wanted to join the community so we could share and ask specific questions.
