Floor support

One in the middle will keep it from sagging. The flooring you mention, also called OSB, will fall to bits if it gets wet at all. Plywood will hold up much better for little more cost.

My bad...I forgot to mention that mine is all built underneath a leanto so It doesn't get wet when it rains. But in all fairness OSB holds up much better in weather than pressboard.

Well my coop is going to be protected inside of my garage, with a door doing outside. And I'm planning on putting laminate flooring over the top. So i'm hoping it will be ok... right?

What's Pressboard??

Pressboard is sawdust glued and pressed together...It's what the cheap do it yourself furniture is made of. OSB is wood shavings and pieces pressed together with a better quality adhesive than pressboard. As injunjoe said though, it isn't good for long term outdoor use, unless you use a good sealant or outdoor paint/stain with sealant.

We're not just concerned with rainwater here, we gotta worry about chicken poo also. Laminate over the top will definately make a difference.
