Flooring for a walk-in coop -- Can I use Glasbord?

I have read about using Glasbord or FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) as flooring for a coop. The only FRP I can find is wall and ceiling panels. Is there another kind that is made for floors? Can it be used in a walk-in coop? I'm confused about what to put on top of my plywood floors. I think vinyl would be too slippery and I have concerns about the safety of the rubberized roofing stuff that people have discussed on the forum. Thanks!

I've always had dirt floor coops. Any reason not to? Much cheaper, easy to clean, and the deep litter encourages insect population.

What are your concerns about the roofcoat? I used a rubberized roofcoat product from Lowes(Blackjack#57). I put it down in my coop over 4yrs ago, and it looks the same today, as it did then. It's a totally safe product for a coop floor. The chickens can't do anything to it, even if they wanted to. There is no smell, and the floor is not slippery at all. IMO, it's the best wooden coop floor protector you can get.

I know lots of people have used it without any known problems, but I am an organic gardener and I plan to have organic eggs. I don't use garden fertilizers or other products unless I am sure they meet organic standards. I don't believe the manufacturer of Black Jack 57 recommends use on chicken coop floors.

I looked at the questions posted on Lowe's website and some responses said not to use on a chicken coop floor.

I haven't seen any published research that says it's safe and I just don't want to take a chance.

I had a dirt floor in my coop years ago, but recently neighbors have had problems with rodents and/or predators digging in under dirt floors.

JackE - I sent a reply, but it had to be approved by the moderator because it contained a link. My concern is that I don't know that the Black Jack roof-coat has ever been tested or approved for use on a floor with contact by animals/people/chickens. I know many people have used it without any obvious problems, but I'm an organic gardener and chicken-keeper so I'm hesitant to use it without more information. I just sent an email to the manufacturer asking for information.

JackE how long did it take for your floor to dry? I used a rubberized roof coat from Home Depot. From everything I could find it's just like the black jack. Home Depot is closer to me than lowes. I put it down Sunday. It still isn't set. It's dry but not hard. I could see my shoe prints in the coating last night. I'm wondering if it takes a long time to set? I'm worried maybe I should have just gone for the extra drive and gotten the black jack.

I went to lowes, com and they have a bunch of Black Jack brand coatings, none that say #57. Can you give me more info about the one you used (size, price, fiber-based).
Do you think it would it work to paint the plywood roof of a rabbit hutch instead of shingles?

My floor was dry well within 24hrs. Is it raining, or is the humidity high where you live? If so, that could be the reason it's taking longer. Also, did you stir/mix the stuff real good? I know I had to really stir the heck out of the Blackjack. It comes in a 5 gal bucket, and you really have to stir it.
