LOL I think my floor is about 12 inches above the ground. If I put a lip on it, I will be tripping going in and out. LOL

One time I was trying to get a broody duck out of the house real fast to keep her from pooping on me or in the house and forgot about the lip and tripped over it fell and hurt my elbow but she didn't poop on me. Man does that stuff smell.LOL I think my floor is about 12 inches above the ground. If I put a lip on it, I will be tripping going in and out. LOL
Yes it is I had that happen too. Having to pick them up to look at the bottom of their feet, some don't like to be picked up whether broody or not. lol still broody duck poo is the winner on nasty.Fresh chicken poo is bad enough. I haven't had one of my ducks poop on me and I hope it stays that way. LOL I'd love to see some pictures.
In this one house I have 15 chickens in the one room and 7 ducks in the room that shows the floor coming in from the ramp. I keep my ducks in stalls since I have 2 drakes sleeping in there. The door going into the chicken coop side has chicken wire on the top for air flow. I have a total of 33. 15 chickens 4 geese and 13 Muscovy ducks. Geese have their own house and my other ducks are split up according to their drakes and ducks. in their own houses. How about you? looks like you have a gorgeous roo.Do you shut the ducks and chickens away from each other?
That looks very nice. How many birds do you have?
