You are doing what you can! If the chick makes it to three days old they are usually fine. Organ problems crop up in that time.

Still about the same. Every time I check. The chick is on it's back under the heater plate. So it isn't moving well.

The chick is less floppy now. Didn't find it on its back this time and the umbilical looks less inflamed. Still weak, not walking properly, but holding its head up and looking more alert.

The chick is only about 24 hours old. I've been dipping it's beak every time I get my hands on it. It isn't interested in food.

The chick has passed on. I was trying to give it more water, it gave a tremendous spasm and then went completely floppy and stopped breathing. All the other chicks are looking great. We have 14 others and two that are still hatching.
