Floppy Cockerel comb

Well my rooster is five months old. Ever since his comb even began growing it's been floppy. Looks nice and red. He is mixed red sex link.

Any reason to worry about it. He's just turning ito to be quite a good looking bird except this unruly comb he's growing.

Just a matter of his genetics. He looks very dashing with his unique comb. I'm sure many of his hens will think the same thing.

Some chickens naturally have floppy combs. Don't worry, it's just his unique looks

One of my orpington hens has a partially floppy comb and she is the one with the most personality

I figured it was just a trait he was going to have. He's a nice guy so far! He'll let you get close and pet him and he's starting to protect the flock too! A cat came wondering in the backyard a few days ago. He was going to go after that cat if it didn't run away first!
