Floppy crest

My two-year-old buff orppington laying hen is showing a weird sign. Earlier this summer she had Pasty butt which I treated successfully. She still has a droopy crest/wattle. Previously hers and all 9 others had bright red erect crests. Is this an indication of a bigger issue?

My girl's got floppy as she got older. My girl is over 3 and has had a floppy comb for about a year now. I think it's age.

And the heat. We have really hot summers, and I think that contributes.

OP hints they are. My chickens' get pale during bad weather and when they are molting. Tis the time of year for molting...
