Floppy ear rabbit..

I have one called a holland lop. I tried to get my husband to let me get it for 3 months. He kept telling me i did not need any more animals

That was not what i wanted to hear, so i got one anyways. Well, the little girl is in love with HIM and he knows it. She chose him over me and now its HIS rabbit. I am now thinking i shoulda gotten a guinea pig

Awww...that is sooo cute!! Thats normally how it works, I wanted silkies, my hubby didn't, now they are his favorite chickens also the bantams that he thought were pointless and stupid he is in love with them and just ordered 50 more!! Guys are funny!

About ten years ago my kids come running into the house and said there was a baby bunny outside under a bush, in our front yard. Now, I don't mess with wild animal babies so I told them to leave it alone and it's momma would come back for it (we'd just keep an eye on it to make sure

). My 9 yr. old son came in and said that he was standing near the bush and the bunny hopped out and onto his shoe!!! Well, that's not a wild bunny (or at least not a healthy one) so I went out to check it out. It was a very young Holland Lop... the cutest little bugger I've probably ever seen and desperate for human love and attention. We lived in town at the time and went through the neighborhood looking for it's home. Never did find the owners.

That little Lop was the sweetest, friendliest animal I've ever had. She "demanded" to be held and petted - we kept her until she died. We still miss her and will someday have Holland Lops again.

I used to breed hollands, now my friend down the road has the rest of my stock with her stock she's doing wonderfully in the show circut.
