Floppy wings after swimming

Hi, i was wondering if anybody else had this with their waterfowl. My geese just went for a swim, and now they are eating grass, but their wings are hanging loose at their sides and they keep going up and down? Anybody know what this is?

They’re creating airflow under the wings to help dry them out.

Ok. I thought they would really flap them to do that. They are just twitching at their sides.

So many moons ago I worked at an apartment complex with swans and water canals between the buildings.
Typically we co mingled unless there were babies. Then we wouldn't work the nest areas for a few weeks.
