Last night Patrick was doing that, closed eye death gasp. I did not have a big hatch, ans would be sad to lose that chick. I held his limp body, and gave him egg yolk water. Then put him back for the night. This morning he was still alive, no gasping, I gave more egg yolk water, and went on with my morning now, 3 hrs later, he is running about, I went to pick him up, and he ran off. Wow, and I had no hope last night.
Patrick is the small yellow chick.
