FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Thanks TREX. But Stone Plus is super pricey, and I need a dump truck load. I understand about not having roosters. Most folks tend that way, hence my over-abundance of them!! Turning them into Capon really sounds like a pain, for both the chicken and myself.

Hey Central West Florida Friends!

I got a little overzealous chick shopping this year and ended up with four ducks that I shouldn't have, two pekins and two khaki campbells. The pekins are at about 4 weeks and the campbells are about two. I'm in tampa if anyone would like to pick them up to have as pets, they're all yours! (I would prefer them not be eaten).

Thanks!

I would take the Khaki Campbells in a heartbeat (already have two that could use some buddies!), but the closest I'm going to be to Tampa is Okeechobee...

Well I guess it could be expensive depending on what you buy and it also depends on what your comparing it too.For myself its a lot cheaper than buying seperate baggies at lowes, lol!! I can fill the back of my Ram pick up with potting soil/top soil for a little over30.At lowes they want for the good stuff upwards of 8 to 10 dollars a bag.

My daughter will take the Pekins, and the KC if you don't find another home for them. She doesn't eat them (she would be horrified!) and shows them for 4H, sells eggs, etc. She has 6 4-6 week old Pekins, 2 young feathered ones, and 4 adults. One Muscovy that we *think* is a drake, but he's young and we aren't sure. Not sure why I"m volunteering to let her have more... but they will be loved.

Greetings from Hammock, Florida. Just south of Marineland and north of Flagler Beach. Unincorporated and ag-friendly. Anyone in the surrounding area? Got neighbors that have chickens have made best friends here!

Right at your front doorstep near Gold Head Branch State Park is a sand mining operation. They have the best sand and bag and ship to the world. Right off 17 (or is it Blanding?), maybe they'll load you up for pennies!
