I have 3 pairs of LF SC Rhode Island Reds that I am willing to sell or trade for building materials, fencing, etc. These chicks are just over 9 weeks old from the 99 year old Underwood line and came directly from Mr. Underwood. I don't have room for any more livestock but am willing to barter for anything to build coops, pens, or what have you.

Oh my gosh he is getting soooo big. I love him. I have him in a separate cage with a little pullet I hatched from the RIR eggs I got from you last year. I have a bunch of them growing out for freezer camp and eggs until these Underwoods start laying. I have 2 of my older Underwoods pullets that I am going to put with Rhodie and eventually get some awesome Rhodebars. Next year I am planning on only raising the Underwoods and the Rhodebars.
Super Spot and Lucy are doing great as well. Sweet, sweet, sweet pigs, now the feeders different story. Lets just say we will have no problem sending them to freezer camp.
Let me just add that anybody getting eggs, birds, or pigs from ApronStings will not get better quality or healthier animals then what she has. I have been to her homestead and she runs a top notch operation.

Nice to see that you are so close!! I'm in Clay county too.I finally narrowed my picks down and now only have 2 Rhodebar males. VERY pleased with them. I'm hatching too much stuff. I got the Royal Ringlet PBR's going into lockdown tomorrow. I have two shipments of Stukel PBR eggs on the way from two seperate breeders as we speak. Lavender Orpingtons going into lockdown with the PBR's. Hatching Marradunas and Black Orps too. So I have lots to grow out a while before I start culling. Skip got a TRACTOR! He is super happy. I might even be more happy than him. I was grinning like an idiot for about 4 hours after he brought it home. Taking pictures and video. Giddy as all get out.
So good to hear that ya'll breeder pigs are to yor liking. Your meaty's will eventually be VERY appreciated. We processed 2 this month already and one last month. Been a busy Spring for sure.
Thanks for the compliment, and for toot'n' yor horn bout my little homestead. Means alot and is very appreciated. We have worked hard and are proud of what we've built here. Come out anytime to visit and talk chicken we me Penny.
