FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Scratch is just a snack, sorta like candy bars for kids.
They need real feed for food. It depends on the age of the chicken.

X3. The feed doesn't have to be Purina. Most everyone will have an opinion of what is best. I personally use FRM (Flint River Mills) or Southern States because that is what the feed store down the road about 2 miles from me carries. When the older birds are in molt or I have a show coming up, I usually get the 20% protein FRM Game Bird feed, but normally the 15% or 16% feed is fine. They actually don't need the higher protein feed in hot weather. I do treat my birds daily when I go out to collect eggs. They get their scratch grain mix. Good luck and have fun...

FRM is what I use too, I get mine on ACE Hardware stores.
I didn't know ace sells feed. I usually just shop Ace hardwares garden and canning sections.I'll have to go and have a look and compare prices.

It is cheaper I went from Dumor to FRM like $2 less
