FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

The state lab in Kissimmee can necropsy your bird for 30 dollars if you want to know what is going on. I'm taking a bird that died Saturday there today. It needs to be double bagged and refrigerated. You can fedex it to them if you don't want to drive it there. I posted all contact information for all NPIP labs by state in the emergencies forum yesterday. Sorry for your loss.

I have a wheezy chicken. She is about 4 months old, easter egger. I got her 2 weeks ago. I have gotten all of my chickens from the same breeder. She doesn't have any discharge and she is eating/drinking/being a chicken. Thoughts? None of the other chickens sound like this that I have heard. This is a new flock.. I have had them about 5 months.
I had one that did that right after i got her a few months ago it was really bad i thought she was a goner i got some antibiotics and gave it to her and thank goodness it cleared it up

We lost our barred cochin hen last night

Still no idea what caused it but the other cochins seem fine.
oh no im sooooo sorry for your loss :(

i was looking at my roosters legs and they looked a little pink im not sure if this can be normal or if its a rash of something

My little hen had similar redness in between her toes as well. I have a cream that I put between them because I was treating the bottom of her feet for sore spots as well. It seemed to go away. I would like to know what it is if anyone knows.

Appreciate the kind words! We have moved them to another pen, and put tarps up on the sides to give more protection from the infernal rain (they were protected but this pen is better with higher roosts, more boxes they can sit in ) and the others are eating, dust bathing and scratching to their little hearts content! :)
