Hi, does anyone know if it is normal for my EE hen to totally lose her tail feathers? She looks so weird but is happy, eating well and laying. She is 10 months old. The other 2 have not done that. They were all from the same batch.

Our favorite white layer is our brown leghorn. Quite a ham, athletic, and a good layer. Gets along with the other 18 hens. She's just under a year old now.

One of my roosters lost all his tail feathers. I thought the other rooster was pulling them out. But he grew them back so I think its normal.
