FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

It's just not very good pics, they both have beards.I think her beard may have been wet on that side but she has no bare spots. the black one is from my silver EE roo and BR hen and the silver is from the same Roo and my red EE hen. Both are bearded with pea comb. While trying to get the pics I got side tracked by a jerk neighbor throwing trash in my yard. I had to get pics of that. thats twice I've got the jerk on camera.

Welcome! Best place to be is here to get the best info on raising chickens.

I have a long list of chicks/teenagers for sale but some are little roos. Here's a 'short' list. LOL

7 English White Orpingtons, 6 weeks old, straight run but possibly will be able to tell them apart soon, $12 each.
6 Silkie babies, about 2 weeks old (Splash roo over Blue hen), $7 each, straight run.
1 Crested Cream Legbar pair/trio, (1 male, 1 female) approximately 5 weeks old (will need to double check their age), Green Fire Farms original import lines A, B, C, $25 pair, or $35 for a trio.
2 Altsteirer chicks, 1 week old, straight run only, direct from from Green Fire Farms, $12 each
4 Isbar chicks, 1 week old, straight run only, direct from Green Fire Farms, $12 each
1 Welsummer pair, 4 months old, $25. Hen will be laying soon and lay dark brown eggs.

Let me know if interested in any of these. Also would help those of us here to know what you are looking for to fill your coop and if you can have roosters or not.

Again, Welcome and have fun!

There arnt any avian influenza banns in Florida? Most of the north and mid west USA have been hit hard I mean extremly hard to the point that this year we have lost 48 million birds and something like 1.8 million birds killed because a flock member was infected luckily my flock has been spared so far but all swap meets shows and anything dealing with co mengleing has been canceled till further notice

No, no bans in Florida. So far we have not been affected. I know some of the northern states such as Michigan have bans and there will be no poultry shows including fairs. Most of the flocks affected have been commercial stock with few backyard poultry keepers.
