FLORIDA!!!!!ALWAYS SUNNY SIDE UP!!!

Welcome to BYC Wiesttay, where every day is a holiday and every meal is a feast..:D;)

I'm in Lakeland.. Love Ocala, driving thru all those horse farms is amazing.. Pembroke Pines is a beautiful place too.. I was going to move there one time, but was told I was about $1.5 million short;):D, I only had $17.57..:hmm:hmm I did live in West Palm Beach for about three yrs.. Loved the place.., but had to come back to the tranquil life in the backwoods of Lakeland..
Glad you've joined us..:frow:), you'll have fun here, and also learn a lot about chicken..

Oh no no no! We got lucky and live west of SR27 in a manufactured home in a small community. Paid less than 100k and own our small piece of land. We're backed up right to the levy of the everglades. All the homes here in south west ranches and surrounding areas are crazy expensive! We want land but can't afford it here and im dying inside lol. I want to move back to true woods and country but we go where money and work is.

:welcome My hubby and I had a period in our lives where we had to locate to where the work was and had our jobs and lived in an area where chickens weren't allowed back then. Now a lot of communities are allowing small backyard flocks. When my husband retired we moved to a rural area and bought some acreage. I was lucky, still working but I was able to transfer. Then it was time to build our first coop. (I had chicken many years prior.) You will realize your dream but for now you do what you have to do. Good luck and have fun...

Hello everyone,

I have a dilemma where I can’t keep roosters and two of my littles seem to be cockerels. They haven’t crowed thus far but I’m pretty certain they’re male based on behavior and physical characteristics and so I must re home them to a GOOD home. Gold lace sebright and Cochin bantam Located in central Florida.

Where are you located?
I will drive them like anywhere in the state. I just realized I have a third rooster this morning that started to crow. They're totally free, I can't have them :( They keep fighting each other too which is stressful. I don't want them to hurt each other or worse.
