how old are they?

All are this years hatch, plus have my white gander who is filling out his feathers right now. The one girl I would love to show (she is just beautiful) but she has a spot on her head and has blue splash feathering. (very faint as her feathers get longer)

Not to be a pessimist, but what if they come out to test and do find something? I know a couple times back a few years ago the Department of Agriculture was on my property, looking at my chickens without my permission or knowledge...not that I have anything to hide, but that made me nervous. I wouldn't want my feathered friends confiscated, or...? By the way: good luck today!

Oh geez...no pressure there! Guess that's why the hairs on the back of my neck stood up when the neighbors called to tell me the Dept. of Ag. was roaming around my property. No visits ever since, though (that I'm aware of). That was back when everyone was worried about bird flu, so maybe there was a connection.

Been crazy busy..
